Finally! I am getting around to showing off our new edition....Jake Michael Boston. He was born April 9th at 8am and this c-section was a walk in the park compared to the first go around. Maybe it had something to do with not being in labor 20 hrs prior??? At any rate, even the first month has been easier this go around. Jake is a great eater and sleeper and we really have no complaints and Chris and I love being parents of two now! I went to the grocery store today on my own and actually missed the boys. Luckily I had 2 sisters that could come out right away and help....especially with Richard who at 19 months is full of energy and loves to play outside. Guess where we'll be all summer?! Jan came out when Jake was one week old and she actually was able to celebrate my 35th birthday w/me on the 23rd. I voted to go to the Cheescake Factory (no cooking and cleaning necessary.) Then Julie came out and we spent a lot of time around the house and one day of shopping. I realized after 3 weeks of post pregnancy I should NOT be shopping as the clothes just looked HORRIBLE but I know I need to give myself just a few more weeks (OK, months,) and then start trying on non-maternity wear. Chris and I are starting our health kick this week and have not one piece of chocolate in the house or anything sweet for that matter. Let's see how long that lasts....we tried doing that when Jan was here and then we had her run out and buy treats and she loaded us up with cake, cookies, candy bars, brownies and ice cream. NICE. But, now it's time to get serious. Chris has opted to ride the Elephant Rock which is a century in June so he is in training. Well, there you have it.....you're brought up to date a bit with the Bostons. More to come soon.
